Lord Thork Ranson rules over Ranorya, one of the most prosperous trading hubs on the continent. He enforces a unique rule for conducting business within its walls to test incoming merchants and ensure the city's safety. Four new merchants are selected each month to undergo a trial, where only one can prevail.
