Some time ago, Jacek Bartosiak’s game Play of Battle changed its name to Systemic War. This change was prompted by suggestions from players who felt that the original title sounded like the name of a mobile or browser game. The title change is not surprising, given that Play of Battle was a working title and there was a good chance it would be changed from the outset.
Today, the game finally appeared on Steam, and a demo version will be available on October 13, 2025.
