Play of Battle is a strategy game being developed by the Noobz from Poland studio under the auspices of Dr. Jacek Bartosiak, who studies geopolitics. Retired General Waldemar Skrzypczak, among others, is also involved in the project.
The game is to be set in modern times and cover the entire world. Play of Battle will allow the game to be played on a strategic level (as in Hearts of Iron IV) as well as on a tactical level (such as in Company of Heroes).
Given that the game’s production is staffed by people involved in real wargames developed for the military, we expect a game that will place a strong emphasis on realism. Currently, there is a shortage of strategy games on the market that take place in recent history, so the game has a rather large niche in the market to fill.
The first demo of the game was presented on September 26 in Warsaw.
